Every morning when I run out the door, to take my kids to school running, it's still very dark outside.
Running around Christmas: it's different!
It certainly adds a frisson to my runs, not knowing where my foot is going to land next! Especially since the road to school is partly a dirt track, full of potholes. I have never treaded so gently, for fear of twisting an ankle…
It's the most wonderful time of the year ; )
But there's something special about running this time of year. And that's the Christmas decorations people have put up. I enjoy everything I see. The sprakly Chrismas stars, the enligthened angels and the decorated Christmas trees. It's like my own personal Christmas gallery!

I bet a runner would have to be careful where they step. Our sidewalks are bad, so I probably would have to look down all the time. lol. Stopping by from SITS!
Oh yes, I can see how the Christmas lights would make runs all that more special.
